Lovely Lydia was the Bunny of the Month. She is a New Zealand White girl, a big bunny!, and no matter how affectionate we all knew her to be, everyone wanted a small bunny, a baby, or someone with "more colors." Lydia waited for five months. She came in a lot smaller, 8 month sold, but was now nearly full grown and still no one wanted her!

I promised Lydia that she would get out soon and that no one would ever hurt her.

Then I got an e-mail from a human, also named Lydia, and she said that she just knew this big white New Zealand was meant to be a part of her family and had even dreamed about making this (right) decision! Hooray!

Things progressed very quickly and on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, Lydia - now named Sophie - went home with her new family to be loved and cherished forever. THAT is a great Thanksgiving story, isn't it?

THANK YOU, LYDIA, for taking a very special bunny into your lives. Sophie deserves all the love you have and we are all so happy for her.
